Caliber: Watch Collection
Everything you know about every watch you own, in one place. Caliber keeps a proper record of your collection — the references and calibers, the service history, the timing readings over the years, the straps in the drawer, the photos and the paperwork. Built for collectors and watchmakers who want more than a spreadsheet, and who want their data to stay their own.
Your collection, recorded properly
-
Every watch in detail
Record make, model, reference, caliber, serial number and year, alongside the movement specification — beat rate, lift angle, jewel count, power reserve, and movement type (automatic, manual, chronograph, quartz). Add purchase details, where it came from, and your own notes. Each watch gets a gallery of photos.
-
Service history & reminders
Log every service, regulation, repair and battery change — who did it, what it cost, and which parts went in. Set a service interval and Caliber tracks how long it has been, flags a watch when it falls due, and can remind you before it does. No more guessing when the Submariner last saw a watchmaker.
-
Timing logs & six positions
Record rate, amplitude and beat error over time and watch the trend on a chart. Take a full six-position set — dial up and down, crown up, down, left and right — and Caliber reports the mean rate, the positional spread, and the flat-versus-vertical delta, grading the result against chronometer-style limits.
-
Straps & bracelets
Keep track of what each watch wears. Record straps and bracelets by type, material, colour, brand, lug width and clasp, and mark the one currently fitted. The drawer of spare NATOs and the bracelet in the box are all accounted for.
-
Wear tracking
Log the days you wear each watch and see which pieces actually get worn — and which are candidates for rotation or sale. A quiet record that builds a surprisingly useful picture over time.
-
Photos & documents
Attach photos of the dial, the caseback, the movement, and keep the paperwork with the watch — receipts, warranty cards, service invoices. Everything about a watch lives in one place.
On every Apple device, in sync
Caliber is a true universal app for iPhone, iPad and Mac, with a layout that adapts to each. Add a watch on your phone at a dealer and it is on your Mac when you get home. Your whole collection stays in step across your devices automatically, through your own iCloud account — there is no Whiteforge account to create and no Whiteforge server in the middle.
Two ways to get it on the Mac
Caliber will be available on the App Store for iPhone, iPad and Mac — free to download and try, with a single £9.99 purchase to unlock the full app. In addition, the Mac version can be bought as a direct download from this site for a one-off £9.99: a notarised, signed app you own outright, activated with a licence key, with no App Store account required. Both are the same app; the choice is yours.
Privacy
Caliber sends nothing to Whiteforge — there are no Whiteforge servers, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs. Your collection is stored on your device and synced across your own devices through Apple’s private iCloud database, which only you can see. See the full privacy policy for detail.
